No woman, no drive

Saudi women are doing the unthinkable–driving a car.  It’s a major  act of defiance because it is illegal in Saudi Arabia for women to drive (along with a bunch of other rights/privileges). In  the U.S., women take this skill of independence for granted. But what if every time you needed or wanted to make a move, you had to depend on a man to drive you? One Saudi official even claimed that women’s ovaries are harmed by driving. Down with women’s oppression!

Check out a satire of the situation. These brothers released their video on October 26, the date selected by Saudi women to get behind the wheel at their own risk.  Click on the photo.
