Operation Epic Fury was MAGA’s version of shock and awe. The coordination of the US-Israeli obliteration of Iran’s military infrastructure, including its nuclear capabilities, would be over in a few days. The phrase, “very quickly,” was the term used by trump. We are now into the fourth week of the attack on Iran, and there’s no end in sight. Could trump have picked the wrong bully to pick on?
February 28 must have been one of those “WTF” moments for U.S. allies in the Middle East who had not been informed about the coming Fury. Maybe Yemen, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Kuwait would have been better prepared to defend themselves in the days following the Iranian rage of retaliation. Some sources say that Iran has been preparing for an attack such as this for decades.
Op Epic Fury is another ill-planned military invasion with no plan for entering and exiting Iran. The American people were not informed, and Congress was bypassed for approval to go to war. The war is reported to be costing $2 billion a day, with an upcoming request for another $200 billion. Iran’s closing of the strategic Strait of Hormuz, the channel that facilitates the flow of crude oil, natural gas, and fertilizer to the world, apparently came as a surprise to the Western war criminals. There’s now a regional war going on in the Middle East, and the operation has unleashed a global oil and financial crisis.
The joint attack by the U.S. and Israel took out the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other key military leaders during Ramadan. Not a bright idea, because it unnecessarily woke up Muslims all over the world to U.S. Islamophobia and Israel’s genocide in the West Bank.
Within a week of Op Epic Fury, elections were taking place in Iran to select a new Supreme Leader. Mojtaba Khamenei, a younger version of the Ayatollah, was voted into office on March 9 to head the regime. So much for regime change.
The MAGA monsters have repulsed us all by treating the war like a video game that has no real-life consequences. Warmonger Pete Hegseth appears to be jubilant just talking about the military operations he’s directing. Woke people in the U.S. are crossing fingers that the Democrats don’t buckle and divide when confronted with the vote to authorize billions more for a criminal war.
The world must be asking when are we going to do something with the demonic man in the White House. What most of us know is that trump is incapable of making sound, humane decisions. The people around him are the architects of the dismantling of democracy, both at home and abroad, when it comes to money, land, and power. The president just needs to be pacified with how a decision will enrich him, his family, and his band of pedophiles.
With the No Kings protests behind us, we must turn the fiery momentum into solid acts of resistance that disrupt business as usual, that organize our communities for local battles, and that bring a Democratic takeover of the House and Senate. If the MAGA monsters think this is a game, it’s time for we who believe in democracy to resoundingly declare, “Game over!”

Women’s sassitude should match our voting power
As Women’s History Month came to a close, I began pinching myself to see if I am awake. In 2026, with all the struggles and accomplishments of women, we still have women in positions of authority cowering to men for no other reason than their gender. That is what patriarchy looks like in this country, and it drives feisty feminists wild.

Data Centers: Benefit or Burden?
Data centers have been evolving and expanding since the introduction of computers in the 1950s. In the last decade, their global presence has significantly increased due to advancements in technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), and cloud computing. It is estimated that there are around 600,000 data centers of various sizes and functions worldwide. They have become a pariah in the eyes of communities when it comes to technological advancement, and for good reasons.
